Hotel staff are very very welcoming and helping with everything needed. Massage is good. Chief in restaurants cooking great when you ask him individual preferences.

We initially stayed one week at Zen Inn, but we ended up extending our stay because we loved it so much — both my boyfriend and I. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Let me begin with the staff, who were absolutely wonderful. They arranged our transport to the island, welcomed us with genuine smiles, and on our departure day they all came to say goodbye and even prepared a packed breakfast for us since we couldn’t eat before leaving. Any problem we had was solved immediately, and they helped us with absolutely everything we needed. We truly felt taken care of. A special mention goes to Riwa, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. He was always there for us, served our meals with great care, and brightened our vacation with his positive energy. His smile lifted our mood every day — even on mornings when we woke up a bit grumpy. For us, he felt like a real friend. We highly recommend the activities with Flow Ventures. They took the most beautiful drone photos and videos for us, we enjoyed live music, and we went ocean fishing. We repeated the fishing trip three times because the fish we caught was cooked for us in the evening — and it was without exaggeration the best fish we have ever eaten. The chef cooked it perfectly, and the lemon garlic butter sauce was absolutely amazing with the fresh fish. The food in general was excellent. The Maldivian breakfast and the fruit pancakes were our favorites in the morning. The tuna steak was incredible — we ordered it several nights in a row — and the pizza was just as good. The milkshakes, frappes, teas… we loved absolutely everything. There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t enjoy. Cleanliness was impeccable. The roomboy cleaned everything daily, and the rooms were always spotless, without any sand, even though we came from the beach every day. Everything was extremely clean from the moment we arrived until the moment we left.

Let me start from the host as Mohammad is the world class champion of hospitality. Trust me, I have been to many places but never have met such a great host. He will do everything for you to have the best vacation ever. And you certainly will. Second ingredient is the cottage itself. First line with great beach view (your next phone wallpaper probably), great food. Oh, I’m gonna miss those breakfasts and dinners so much. By the way, they are customizable. Comfy bed with lots of pillows, nice shared living room with balcony upstairs for a morning cup of coffee. We were also given snorkeling equipment as well as snorkeling spots suggestions.

The breakfast offers buffet, continental or American options. At the guest house, the restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and specialises in American cuisine. The room itself was very good and extremely close to the beach. The best feature of this guesthouse is the host himself. Martin is available by Whatsapp any time of the day for anything you may need. Especially the tours organization was outstading, messaging you right after manta groups enter Hanifaru Bay or when a whale shark is spotted closeby. If you requested the Hanifaru Bay tour and you're unresponsive when mantas enters the bay, he would literally search for you at the beach, at the hotel or at the local restaurants. We stayed 5 nights and thanks to the hotel position and the tours we have been able to swim with mantas, one whale shark (at night), dolphins (watched from the boat only), sea turtles, small sharks, stingrays and morays. The reef on the island is also great with easy sandy access also during low tide.

Dhoani Maldives Guesthouse is a recently renovated guest house in Kendhoo, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The property has garden views. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. This guesthouse was by far the highlight of my stay in Baa atoll! The staff make you feel like part of their family (thank you Husham) and give wonderful support in every need of your visit, like tours and transportation - everyone is very helpful and no request for assistance is ever a problem for them. Excellent food! Great chef and excellent price and quality ratio!!! Kendhoo is a cute little island - very colourful and well maintained. Locals are very friendly and welcoming. Loved my day trips to nearby picnic islands - a true castaway experience! Overall, a great experience - can't wait to come back again!
