Small details make a big difference such as the Tommy Bahama beach chairs and the large beach towels. Visits to the beach were very much enjoyed. Coffee maker in the room was greatly appreciated as well as a little bit of coffee to start our day. Patio on the roof right outside our door was amazing for watching the sunsets and enjoying the local scenery. Staff was very friendly and our room was spotless everyday. Well done!

We picked the right place and knew we would be taken care of. The location is great, our balcony was a treat and the rooftop plunge pool offered amazing views. Giovanni, Andrea, and the small staff were awesome. Stay here!

Located less than 1 km from Playa Holbox, EncantaLuna offers air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features family rooms. To reiterate what I had read in some reviews for this place, this guesthouse is a hidden gem! My friend and I loved our room. It had everything we needed. It was also very clean. The shower had warm water, which is not always a given. The outdoor space has chairs and hammocks in the shade to hang out. EncantaLuna is away from the noisy center, and is still a short walk to reach "downtown" and the main beach. For the price you pay, EncantaLuna is a no-brainer. The owners, Erika and Luca, were really wonderful, easily reachable, communicative, and always willing to help and give recommendations. They have a wiener dog, Marvin, who is also adorable. :) Would definitely stay there again!

Each unit is fitted with air conditioning, a private bathroom and a well-fitted kitchen including a dishwasher, microwave, fridge and a stovetop. A patio with an outdoor dining area and quiet street views is offered in every unit. At the guest house, units come with bed linen and towels. An incredibly charming family welcomed us, and we immediately took them to heart... and I believe they did the same with us. Even though we speak only a few words of Spanish and they don't speak English, we got along well. Whenever we needed help or had questions, they were immediately ready and incredibly hospitable. Here, you live together and get to see what the "local life" is like. There's a communal kitchen for guests, a rooftop terrace for relaxing, and even a water refill station. The rooms are simple and functional. Another plus is that in the morning, you can hear a wonderful concert of birds upon waking up; the jungle is right next door. Simply marvelous, we felt very comfortable here and would come back anytime.

The guest house features a rooftop pool with a fence, along with public bath and free WiFi. We had an amazing stay here! Everything was great, location, the room, the terrace with pool and Mauricio and Irais were super friendly. We were a little unlucky with the weather and we weren’t able to take any snorkelling trips so we are already planning a trip back and will definitely be staying here again :)

Hosts were friendly and couldn’t help us more. They even cooked us a lobster dinner as we bought some local lobster. We enjoyed having a communal kitchen as well. David took us onna very reasonably priced eco tour where we saw dolphins, sea turtles and a manatee! An experience of a lifetime!

If you look at the hotel from the street you’ll get a confused vibe since it looks like it was more of a vacation home at some point rather than a hotel. You get welcomed by a super friendly and welcoming host. The common areas are in fact like a house. Once you get into your room you’ll notice a nice decorated room very simple and good looking contrasting a lot with the weird green the hotel has from the outside. The room has a private balcony overseeing the lake. Even though this hotel is small the level of cleanliness in the room and bathroom were better than the 5 star hotel we stayed at in Cancun. The name of the hotel was something that made me doubt when I was looking where to stay since it doesn’t make the place justice as how much attention and care it gets put into it. If you are doubting to stay here… don’t. Go on a reserve with confidence I would (and will) definitely go back. Access to the lake is great, included kayaks and the parking has a gate which gets closed at night which made me sleep more comfortable knowing my car wasn’t sitting in a parking with acces from the street which mosts hotels in the area have. Also the host has the most lovely and friendly dog.
