New building (~3 months old), staff super kind and helpful. Location is out of town so it's quiet but you need a shuttle to town. Owner is happy to drive you there and pick you up at any time. Air condition, Shampoo, outside seating area, perfect wifi, good breakfast mix of local food and toast for those who need European food ;). They even took care of my gluten intolerance.
Also helpful upfront organising tours or transfer and providing information without pressure of booking. Good value for money though.

Very nice and cozy accommodation in the heart of Taman Negara. The vibe is chill and the personnel at the apartment is really kind. They help you in everything they can and they make your stay in the jungle authentic and vibrant. The breakfast is delicious, and they even offer Roti Canai! Also, the guy at the reception even drove us to our bus with his own car because our transport was late, they a really really kind family. If I go back to Taman Negara, without any doubt, I will stay again in the same place.

The place has an perfect ubication Infront Taman Negara, you only have to cross the river 1 minute. The village is hippie and precious. The size of the room was really great and the balcony was a plus point too. The location was quiet and the bathroom was pretty good. There were no insects/animals ins the room except for some ants coming in through the bathroom
Very nice stuff and the owner was s o friendly and knowledgeable- and he gives me a ride to the bus station. The garden is so nice with plenty of butterflies and birds! I can really recommend the Tahan guesthouse.

The hostess is a real treasure and does everything to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. She also arranged great tours in the national park. The room was simple but very clean and equipped with everything you need. The somewhat secluded location is great if you're looking for some peace and quiet and it's not a problem as you can always get a ride into town if you ask. We really enjoyed our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Marja and Ijat were amazing hosts and went above and beyond what was expected... taking us into town, picking us up and arranging trips for us! The gardens here are beautiful, such a lovely setting. The food was delicious and varied! We loved it! We also did the day trip into the jungle that only this guest house offers. It was the best day of our whole trip to Malaysia. We 100% recommend doing it! Definitely recommend staying here, it was fantastic!!!

- Lovely guest house with very friendly and helpful staff! When we arrived we were told the double room we had booked had issues with the bathroom so we were upgraded to a deluxe room free of charge!
- great location by the river and only 5-10 min walk into the main village area.
- we paid for lunch for our trek which was very tasty.
- they were great prior to arrival helping us to book transfers to and from the village and also booked our tours for us whilst we were there (at better rates than other travel companies had quoted us).
