Location is perfect, great view of the volcano, amazing garden. Lots of birds and howler monkeys. Miguel and his brother were very helpful and nice. Local breakfast prepared just for us by amazing señoras! If you are looking for quite spot with lots of nature this is the place to be.

The place has a nice garden full of tropical plants, and an open roofed space with chairs, tables and hammocks. The breakfast was the usual Nicaraguan gallo pinto (rice with black frijoles) with eggs and fried plantains. Tasty. I made my own coffee in the guest kitchen. There are some nice walks from the place to a natural pool, the nearby (1.5 km) Finca Magdalena, and along the lakeshore past Balgue.

The house is beautiful in a beautiful setting. The service was really very good, it was cleaned each day and it was easy to contact the owners who came straight out to assist with getting the key out of the key box! We hired a bike to get around which is kind of necessary although there are buses that go around the island. Highly recommend.
