It features an outdoor pool and an on-site restaurant. Very clean and comfortable rooms , great food. I loved the cats . We definitely want to come back.

Boasting an infinity pool and views of pool, Quinta do Monte Travesso - Country Houses & Winery is a guest house set in a historic building in Tabuaço, 25 km from Douro Museum. We had the most wonderful retreat to the Douro hills at Quinta do Monte Travesso. We stayed in the 1 bedroom cottage which was close to the main vineyard buildings but still super private. The views are stunning, and the garden with a little pool, hammock, lawn and lots of seating areas was the perfect spot to lounge in the sunshine. The fridge was stocked with breakfast things and fresh bread was delivered each morning. We barely left the Quinta as it was the perfect spot to unwind. We had a wine tasting with the winemaker which was fascinating and delicious. The bed was super comfy and everything was high quality and in good condition. We’ll definitely be back.
