Not only that, but the staff person who checked us in is the most professional, helpful and kindest person we have met in years. Cleaning The place is spotless, so clean that i wish they will clean my house 😂 Location Just very close to airport and Therma, good transportation to the city, it is not a city hotel, and it's location is great for what we needed. Staff Superb friendly and very helpful. We booked the same place for our departure.

Set in Bucharest, near Gara de Nord Metro Station and Bucharest North Railway Station, Central Victoriei Guesthouse is a recently renovated property, featuring, a garden and terrace. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space for guests. I really liked having my own room instead of a shared room, for a change. There are only four rooms so it is never crowded and I had no trouble accessing one of the two bathrooms and the kitchen. There is individual aircon in each room and even though we had temperatures in the high thirties while I was there, I was always comfortable in my room. The Internet access was fast. There is a shared fridge for your food and the use of a washing machine for a small charge. There is a shared sitting room and dining table, where you are welcome to sit and don't have to stay in your room. Also a courtyard to sit outside where you can eat and chat. There is excellent security with a high metal gate and good locks on the doors and guest rooms. This guesthouse is halfway (12 min walk) between two major stations with buses and the Metro. There are a couple of small supermarkets close by which is very handy. Lastly, the host Christian is a lovely guy who will do his best to make sure you enjoy your stay. I enjoyed chatting with him. He is an experenced traveller himself and makes great conversation. My experience in this guesthouse would encourage me to come back to Bucharest again! I want to see a concert in the Romanian Athenaeum, which you should visit.

The room was huge and that bathroom was as well. It was nicely decorated. Great communication. Great location but right in the flight path. Well worth the price.
