Amazing location in a tiny hamlet in the centre of Sweden. A wooden lodge with a large, comfortable bed, and vintage equipment (vinyl disc player, lights, coffee machine). But the experience became truly original as we discussed with our host, who introduced us to the history of the place. Although it is completely invisible and inaudible from our lodge, the large house nearby hosts... a hydroelectric plant. It used to be a watermill in the late XIXth century, and started producing electricity in 1910. If you ever stay there, ask the host to show you the place!

I feel at home in this hotel, I miss it when I am not here. A place full of history. The breakfast was excellent, but I missed a bread toaster and the smell of newly baked bread. Beautiful hotel, excelent people, very kind. Its a hotel where you feel at home, and don't want to leave. Its worth every cent, every Swedish crown. Thank you guys for your kindness if you read this. Very cozy B&B, the rooms are freshly renovated (by the innkeeper himself, we saw him at work in another building) while the character of the old buildings was preserved. The property is beautiful and it is close to all the attractions in the North of Öland. The breakfast was excellent. Even though the bathroom and showers are shared with other rooms everything was very clean and close by the actual room so no big deal.

Everything was just perfect: the house, the room, the personnel, the breakfast and Findus the dog. What was above any expectations was how beautiful the location was by the sea. Too bad we only had one night there.
