For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. The host Dimi was very friendly. The whole accommodation is set next to their family house and really everything is very picturesque. Although the space is not huge, there is nothing that one would miss, on the contrary, the accommodation is very cozy and nothing is lacking. Dimi gave us some tips for trips, restaurant ect. Among other things, the bus, the shop and the beautiful coastline are a short walk away. Luckily for us, we also saw the northern lights on the island 🤩

It’s surrounded by greenery and has a river running past it. The house itself is very spacious, and proved palatial for our group of 3. Our hosts Marcus and his wife were graceful and friendly, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. I would highly recommend staying at this property (particularly if prospective guests have their own set of wheels, as the location might prove hard to reach by picking transport!). One point worth mentioning is that the owners have two large dogs (extremely well behaved!), which our group became very fond of and attached to, but it is appreciable that this might prove a problem for some.

The property has an outdoor dining area. Lilla Lyngabo is an off-the -beaten-path of a gem. The little cottage for guests is so cozy & inviting that one night is just too short of a stay. With an absolutely beautiful beach just 3 km away (don’t miss the sunsets!) and the town of Halmstad 10km down the main road, there’s plenty to do. But honestly, you will be hard pressed to stray to far from the tranquility of Lilla Lyngabo. If you are an American, Ulla (your host) can best be described as an approachable and down to earth Martha Stewart (without Snoop Dog). She has impeccable taste and everything she does is to perfection. Whatever you do, do not forgo Ulla’s 5 course meal; it is an experience you will not soon forget.

This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. When staying at the guest house, guests can use private entrance. A very serene setting, where you can feel the breeze coming off the sea a short distance away. A beach is only a ten minute walk away. There is a horse pasture right next door, providing a relaxing sight. Food is excellent. We had both dinner and breakfast. Very good selection and very well prepared. We had the good fortune to have a conversation with several local residents, and share stories.
