We felt very welcome and the stay is extremely comfortable. Fully reccomended!

Wonderful stay at the hotel! The staff were really helpful and kind throughout the stay! It’s very close to town which was perfect!

Our room had a really nice view of lake bled and the castle. Everything was perfectly cleaned and the bathroom was really modern and freshly renovated! The family Mayer was incredibly kind to all the guests and it was very easy to communicate in German or English. The Pension is really well kept, has a beautiful garden, close and safe parking and is nicely decorated. But the best thing was by far the breakfast! A vast amount of options both sweet and savery. Fresh fruits, homemade Granola and smoothies, lost of baked goods and the best thing were the delicious homemade spreads. So tasty! Also awesome for vegetarians and vegans, especially compared to other slovenian menus. I normally tend to skip breakfast at home and it is my least favorite meal, but here I was already looking forward to it the evening before! We would definitely recommend Penzion Mayer to others and hope we'll be able to return some day!

The location was absolutely perfect as I wanted to be as close to Lake Bled as possible which would afford me pleasant long walks in that area and to be able to go with the boat to the Island Church.
