Everything was great. First thing that I remembered was great food. I think that was the best hotel restaurant ever.
Very clean and cozy. And also location is also the best. Hotel is placed in pedestrian only street in center of old town.
We were there two times. And we will visit Stari Mayr again.

Fantastic staff, friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. The food, both the breakfast and dinner, is good. The location is nice and quiet, with plenty of parking spots. The room is clean and modern. The only minor downside is the room layout: our children slept in the same room as us. That wasn't an issue for the two nights we slept there, but if you stay longer the lack of isolation means going to bed at the same time or leaving them alone in the room. Again, not a big issue, but something to keep in mind.

This is a really athmospheric guesthouse. The view from the balconies and in front of the house is lovely, one can make beautiful photos of the sunset. But the guesthouse itself is also lovely. Clean and comfy. We enjoyed the breakfasts and also dinners which is from traditional slovenian kitchen. Our host was also really kind. It was such a good experience to stay there.
(There is also a friendly dog at the property who likes to be around.)

Warm welcome, kind surprises from the hostess Very clean apartment and a nice spot to explore the area. There is also a very good pizzeria next to the guesthouse. We felt like home!

The guesthouse (gostilna in Slovanian) is close to the city center (approx. 15 minutes on foot) and offers full board if requested. Even though there was no kettle and tea bags in the room, the staff was helpful and I was provided with them. The bed was comfortable and there were no problems with hot water in the shower. The room was clean.
