I highly recommend the resort!! We stayed there for a few days and were absolutely thrilled:
The location directly on the small river is magical and the beautiful bungalows are built in a great bamboo grove. It really comes up with a jungle feeling.
The food was very tasty and authentic, real original Thai cuisine.
Chef Wirot was incredibly helpful in all matters: shuttle service, great tips for excursions (including his scooter) and even took us on a private Sun Rise tour in the jungle.

If you want to experience the original Thailand, this is the place for you: we were the only foreigners there.
We will visit the Khao Luang again and then definitely again at Wirot in the Kung Nok Tha Resort.

Very nice place with stunning views. Rooms are brand new. Motorcycle definitely recommended as it's approximately 1.5km to the beach. Om the owner is amazing, so friendly she really helped me and I totally appreciate everything she did. If 11/10 were possible that wd be the mark!!

It' s more than you can expect for that price! A charming and helpful owner, he even gave my a bicycle for the day. The beach is a 2 minutes walk away. The bungalow has all it needs.

I didn't stay at the location indicated on google maps, but at a different resort, right at the beach. It was a very quiet beach and it was amazing to walk only 5 minutes for a swim.

Beautiful place!
Tranquil, attractive and very well cared for. Everything was provided including drinking water, coffee, fruit, a communal kitchen and relaxing areas to sit.
The pool was gorgeous and the lady host was wonderful. She gave us a lovely welcome and then went out of her way to look after us. She even had our dinner delivered because the nearest restaurant is a long walk away.
We enjoyed relaxing here very much.

The place is very quiet and secluded for those who are looking for it. the view is very good and the place has a nature feel to it too. The hosting family were super friendly and helped with all the different requests with efficiency and a smile. The room size was good and the beds were comfortable.
Splendid location, great hospitality, superb communication. Very good (spicy for kids) food and a delicious breakfast. The room was great as well, good beds and a quiet night. The view in the morning over the pond was also very worthwile. Would love to stay again!

Happy Resort is a gem amidst a row of larger beach hotels. It's more a guesthouse with individual bungalows. The rooms are simple and basic but clean and comfortable. The charming Chai and his family are the greatest hosts. They provide the warmest Thai hospitality. The beach is right across the resort (about 100m). Chia has lots of suggestions on where to go and things to do around the area. Just ask.
