The lady and gentlemen who manage this hotel are the sweetest people with the biggest heart. The lady's cooking is out of this world. Real homemade food. Felt like we were in a home away from home. Make sure you have dinner if you're here. I'll come to Djerba again just to stay in this hotel. Highlights - very clean - the sheets and pillow smelt clean and freshly laundered - beds are comfortable - it's beautiful - perfect for all your Instagram and tiktok videos - the owner, the staff and everyone was lovely (even the cat :)! - it's right next to Djerba hood - short drive away from the centre - if you can't speak French, the lady and gentlemen can communicate well with Google translate or other similar apps - THE BREAKFAST!!!!!! - I could go on and on about other good things We only stayed here for one night as it was at the end of our trip and it was the highlight of our trip. Please book at least two or more nights so you don't regret booking only one night like us. I could stay here for one week.

Where do I begin? Our stay at Villa Salam was truly the highlight of our trip to Tunisia. From the moment we arrived, we were taken by the beauty and serenity of the property. The villa is absolutely stunning, the architecture reflects traditional Tunisian style with its whitewashed walls, while the interiors are tastefully decorated with local artwork and artisan touches. It feels less like a guesthouse and more like a boutique retreat. Despite being a relatively new property, Villa Salam was incredibly well-equipped. Our room had in-unit air conditioning, a full-length mirror, and a small private balcony with a drying rack (a thoughtful touch).The bathroom had multiple hooks, something so simple but rarely found in other places, and made a big difference for convenience and comfort. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we experienced during our time in Tunisia, soft, clean, and perfect for a restful night. Each morning, we looked forward to the delicious breakfast, featuring fresh dates picked right from the trees on the property, served with other local delights. It was such a refreshing and nourishing start to the day. The host, Fethi, went above and beyond. He was responsive, warm, and genuinely helpful. When our flight times changed unexpectedly, he arranged both airport pickup and drop-off, ensuring we weren’t overcharged or misled by taxi services. His hospitality and dedication to his guests truly made us feel welcome and safe. He’s clearly invested in making Villa Salam a special experience for travelers, and it shows in every detail. The location is also ideal, just 15 minutes by car to Houmt Souk and Djerbahood, making it easy to explore the island while having a peaceful base to return to. We’re already recommending Villa Salam to all our friends and family, and we sincerely hope to return someday. Thank you, Fethi, for making our time in Djerba so memorable. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Amira war immer bereit, hat mir gute tips gegeben, hat mir immer geholfen. Hatte ich immer leckeres Frühstück gehabt. Die haben mir am letzte Tag zum Flughafen geholt. Ich kann nur empfählen und ich werde wieder da gehen inshallah <3

Die Unterkunft Maison d'hôtes Dar El Kahina Djerba hat einen Garten, eine Gemeinschaftslounge und eine Sonnenterrasse mit Pool und als Buffet angebotenes Frühstück in Mezraya. This was by far the best place we stayed at during our 10 day trip across tunisia. Isabell is so kind and helped us since day 1. She helped us to book a boat tour and a scooter for an excellent price. The breakfast was amazing since it was a mix of traditional and continental food. The rooms had a brilliant design and everything worked perfectly, there were very spacious as well. The pool is amazing at night because there are lights that make it magical. The location is perfect as well because it is right next to restaurants and just 200m from the beach. Taxis are available as well if you want to go to any other place on the island, just ask the host. This is one of the few properties on booking that deserve a 10/10 rating

Die Einrichtung ist einfach unfassbar schön. Und diese Schönheit zieht sich über das ganze Anwesen. Das Haus liegt 10min zu Fuß zum Souk (Markt/Bazar) ist aber in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Man kann vor Ort auch für 60 TD pro Person abendessen.was vergleichsweise sehr teuer ist wird aber von der liebevollen Hausdame gekocht.
