Come here for a different experience to a hotel and still with more than enough comforts. You can arrange excursions with him, all just easy. We went on a dromedary ride in the late afternoon, it was a very relaxing time.
The property is located at the very end of the inhabited areas before the Sahara, so there's only the desert around you, and it's easy to move around in your own car or by taxi (5-10 minutes to Douz). All positives.

We loved the place. The last property before the desert, we came and there was wind starting to blow so could not go for long in the desert but still the stay was worth it. Mohammed is an amazing host, very nice, open and with attentions. We would definitely come back there if we want to stay longer in the desert.
