While this rating is fair and well deserved, it must be placed in its proper context: we have travelled Europe, the US, South America, China, and Japan - extensively, and yet we have not come across anything that could match this hotel. To begin with, the place leaves, of course, nothing to be desired in terms of cleanliness, amenities, or internet. Moreover, it’s perfectly located within convenient walking distance of the central bus station. This is especially great for those of you who do not arrive with their own car or wish to avoid haggling over local prices for a taxi. Instead, you can reach the hotel in a two-minute walk with your luggage. Despite being located so centrally, the hotel is still a quiet place. No noisy restaurants, bars, clubs etc. around. Rather, you will find a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. Above all, however, you will be welcomed by a most kind and supportive team of receptionists under the leadership of Avni and Seyhan. And you will need them because there are just too many options of what you can do at this location and, on the other hand, there are too many problems you can run into if you cannot reduce the complexity of your options through the possibility of trusting your host. The suggestions we received from them were always well considered and without the slightest hint of a sales attitude. This is really comfortable, as one may not appreciate having the Grand Bazaar extending to one’s hotel. In a nutshell, Avni and Seyhan are a true dream team of their profession if there ever was one. They were most helpful, for instance, in mapping out an exciting hike through the countless valleys and walking paths in the area—even taking their time to patiently pin down the route in Maps.me and explaining how to orientate yourself in the field.

We had such a pleasant stay at Drala Inn Cappadocia. The location is beautiful and the owner (and all of the staff) really understand hospitality. From the first moment I walked in I felt very welcome. The staff is willing to go the extra mile to help with arranging excursions or any problems you encounter. 10/10!

At the inn, all rooms are equipped with a wardrobe. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, certain units at In Stone House also have a city view. The units in the accommodation are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a hairdryer. we couldn't ride the hot air balloon because of strong wind. However, we're able to spend a fulfilling time to join horse riding tour and walk the ruins near the hotel.

All units come with a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom with slippers, bidet and shower. All units come with a kettle, while selected rooms are fitted with a fully equipped kitchen with a stovetop and kitchenware. At the guest house, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. My stay was truly wonderful, the place was very cozy and beautiful, it has spectacular views, the breakfast is delicious, very abundant. Naz's attention was of another level, always concerned that I was comfortable, she worried about my transportation to the airport, until the last minute she helped me when I had a problem on a tour and was worried that I would arrive at the airport on time. I really want to thank Naz for her generosity and human quality, I hope to be able to return one day!

We deliberated a lot on our stay in Cappadocia, there were so many options and it's hard to decide which one would be authentic and good for us. We are glad we chose well. Our stay there was very short, and we came with no big plans except to get a glimpse of this amazing landscape. The hotel is located in Uchisar right next to the Uchisar Castle, has a great view of the valley below (and the balloon rides in the morning). The staff Mustafa and Bahar was super helpful with arranging all logistics for us very quickly including a shuttle to and from Kayseri airport which was over an hour away, a curated day trip with a guide and massages. Mustafa has been very gracious with his suggestions on what to do on the trip, restaurents to visit and went out of his way to make our visit memorable. It was my birthday on the one day and he arranged for a suprise celebration woven into our day trip, which was lovely. The Kale Konal breakfast is a wonderful spread and unmissable. The resident dog Badam will keep you company over coffee :)! The rooms are cozy and well appointed. Be prepared for a lot of up and down walking to the rooms, and come with lighter luggage. And dont miss a walk up the Uchisar Castle, the views are totally worth the short walk up.

From the check in to check out, the host was always there for help. The breakfast was really good. You can watch the balloons and the city from their terrace.
