Terrace Guesthouse is situated in the Fatih district of Istanbul, 400 metres from Basilica Cistern, 1 km from Column of Constantine and less than 1 km from Topkapi Palace. The property has sea and quiet street views, and is 600 metres from Blue Mosque. The property is 500 metres from Hagia Sophia, and within 1.7 km of the city centre. Stood at this hotel for 4 nights from 9 of April. Confirm all previous reviews: a comfortable 4 persons room (3rd floor, 4 geusts deluxe), hospital and kind personnel as well as fancy stair - all are here! That stair by the way worried a bit due to a number of mentionings in other reviews, but indeed was quite ok to travel up and down. So, if you are in a middle-slim shape and read somewhen something about sports, it will not scary you. Anyway, Melih additionally noticed us for this stair before arrival. There were 3 of us and that room at 3rd floor was absolutely suitable for comfortable starting. Would like to notice that room looks fresh walls-, furniture- and bathroom-wise. Bosforus view from the room and a nice terrace with breakfasts upstairs towards both sea and Blue and Sofia’s mosques were a very pleasant addon (photos are taken from from the hotel’s roof), though we managed to enjoy it only in the mornings due to quite intensive days. Breakfast was not overkilling, but absolutely tasteful and enough to accumulate power for half-day on feet. After long trips a comfortable bed was waiting to grant a rest. There is no traffic on the nearby streets, so there were quiet nights. Except for muezzins every 5 a.m., but this is a speciality around the whole Istanbul. You'll find tea, coffee, some cookies, fresh water bottles every day in the room. It has been cleared every day. Geographically the hotel was also very convenient - main attractions and tramway stop are 7 minutes away from the hotel doors. Would like to thank Melih for his kindness and hospitality, he was ready to support for any question. Definitely recommend this hotel to everyone, if there is a chance to get back to Istanbul, Terrace Guesthouse will be our first place to check availability in.

Nelly Guesthouse features accommodation within 1.7 km of the centre of Istanbul, with free WiFi, and a kitchen with a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave. The property features city views and is 800 metres from Istiklal Street and less than 1 km from Taksim Square. The guest house has family rooms. Nelly is a really nice woman. You can write her all the time and she always answers and helps you! The room was huge with a big bed, two couches, an armchair, TV, airconditioner, wifi, little kitchen, wardrobe and bathroom. The room had a beautiful design. The location was directly in the center, it was calm at night. It was really PERFECT!

Featuring a private bathroom with a hair dryer, units at the guest house also have free WiFi, while some rooms also offer a balcony. At the guest house, the units have bed linen and towels. The location was very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. The room was spotless ! And the owners were really accommodating. Loved our little balcony. It is worth climbing the stairs for the balcony.

The rooms of Tulip Guesthouse feature simple, colourful decoration. Some rooms feature private en suite bathrooms with a hairdryer. Each has wooden floors and air conditioning. The host is very helpful and sweet. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels. Beds were good. We enjoyed the area, safe and good to get around. Lots of restaurants around.

Each room has simple, yet modern furniture and boast a private balcony. All rooms have TV with multilingual cable channels, a work desk and well-stocked minibar. My experience was nothing but amazing no notes 10/10

Gul Sultan Hotel is situated less than a 5-minute walk from Topkapi Palace, the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The hotel’s summer terrace features views of the Sea of Marmara.

The Gul Sultan is surrounded by Sultanahmet’s cosy streets full of restaurants and shops. Istanbul International Airport is 50 km away. We stayed around 6 days and had two bookings in this hotel. The location, the facilities and the room were all perfect and very convenient for a short stay to explore Istanbul. The main attractions were within the walking distance and there are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. No breakfast was offered in the hotel but we found a really nice small restaurant and ate there most of the time. The receptionists were always very welcoming, friendly and helpful. It's a small and quiet hotel and we really enjoyed our stay.
