We had a great stay. The room is spacious & very clean. We were greated by the lovely cat Mia who loved to be petted. It's a bit far from the city centre but a 20 min. train ride gets you there for a very affordable price. Prior to arriving, the host sent me a message with several tips which helped a lot. Thank you for the pleasent stay Ricardo. If we ever visit New York again, we'll rebook this.

The locality is not safe atall. Room is very tiny. Not even close to what appears in the images online for this place. U cannot even stretch out on the bed for its size. U cannot make call to the host only text messages which is replied in an hour or more so no immediate assistance in case u r locked out or anything . Location is good for proximity to newark penn. Thats the only best part i guess to give some value to this place

Ricardo is the perfect host - so kind and attentive. He made sure I had all the information I needed, from which taxi to get from the airport, to where to eat.
Mia the cat makes you feel extremely welcome too!
I enjoyed my stay and would love to come back.

Everything is awesome, except the parking. I used the parking for 2 days, I went at East Orange Police Station to see some friends and when I came back to tje Guest House, They put a Uhaul truck blocking the driveway. I don't know why. I parked my vehicle outside and inside I have computer, printer and important stuffs.

- Area seems sketchy at first, but after doing some research, it is one of the better if not the best areas to live in Newark. (Also property prices are higher in that Area). We went back from NYC at around midnight, via Bus (Wouldnt recommend the Newark Penn Station at night) and it was totally fine.
