Mr lee and his wife was so warm to myself and my brother and his kindness made me fall in love with vietnam and the whole vietnamese people, He always prepared warm tea for us every evening while we chill at his balcony and enjoy the soothing sound of water gushing from his fish pond. The rooms were neat, the duvet and towels changed always to ensure comfort and even i got so cold at night and mr lee had to provide me with an extra thicker blanket that made me feel better. He also helped me do my laundry and saved me a lot of stress I understand mr lee was trying to be a great host but beyond being a great host, mr lee and his family are good people and the next time i visit vietnam i will come back to experience such warmness & kindness.

But it's totally surrounded on all sides by other buildings, so there is barely any noise from outside. Nice place to come back to and relax. The downside is, on the ground floor at least, the room doesn't get much natural light, but it's well worth it. Great value compared to other properties in the area.

I’d definitely choose to stay here again!

Listen, nowhere in Hanoi is quiet, so you're gonna hear scooters occasionally go by, live music from the neighborhood restaurant, and a rooster earlier than you really want. This is still the most peaceful place I stayed during my 2 weeks in Hanoi.
