Chintsa
Boasting a garden and views of garden, Schafli Manor Chintsa Coastal is a guest house set in a historic building in Chintsa, 1.6 km from Chintsa Beach. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The guest house features sea views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. I had the best time at Schafli Manor. My room had a fantastic, awesome view on Chintsa bay and it was tastefully decorated, equipped for a comfortable stay despite loadshedding and whatnot. There is also a small pool and a beautiful garden. But what really went above and beyond was the loveliness of the fantastic host, Beulah, who cared for me like for a family member. I had great conversations with her and she was very helpful in so many ways: offering precious advices, recommending places and activities and even looking out for me after I was gone. I loved my stay here and would definitely love to come back. Totally recommended!

Guests can grab a bite to eat in an outdoor dining area at the guest house. In a country that is full of wonderful guesthouses, 8 Palms stands a cut above the rest. Why stay in a faceless hotel when you can stay in a beautifully appointed room full of quirky decor and be served with a yummy home-cooked breakfast? I thoroughly enjoyed everything about my stay here: the aforementioned breakfast, the high-speed internet, the solid water pressure in the shower, the kindness of the owner, and the general ambience of the beautiful property. I will happily return here when I am next in the area.

Convenient location for purposes of visit to Gonubie, comfort of the room, dècor, great breakfast, ambiance and the excellent welcome, friendliness and helpfulness encountered. Great hosts and staff made the stay even better. They went out of their way to provide a meal (left in our room the night before) for the last morning as we had a very early start. This was greatly appreciated.
We were in the self-catering unit and it was clean and lovely. Beulah is a wonderful host. We had a view from the verandah. We loved the quiet and tranquil atmosphere although we only slept there because we were preparing for my daughter's wedding at Stonehaven. We had a wonderful time.
