It felt amazing to step outside and explore historic alleys, cafés, and local shops so easily. The hanok itself is beautiful—modern amenities inside a traditional setting. After long days of walking, relaxing in the courtyard gave us the perfect mix of calm and culture. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to truly experience Seoul’s history and lifestyle in one place.

They went out of their way to make us comfortable, check on us, and suggest places to visit. Extremely clean. The place is designed and furnished with luxury materials. From the fine linens, pillows, & bedding, the many thick bath towels, to the quality appliances and beautiful decor, they topped it off with a Marshall speaker playing tranquil Korean music to set the perfect ambiance. I host properties in California, so I noticed every detail they put into the place. They thought of everything a guest could need to enjoy their stay. The location was near the palace and many cute cafes & delicious restaurants that we walked to.

We had an amazing stay at Haeon Seoul, a beautiful traditional hanok house right in the heart of the city. The building itself is stunning, immersing you fully in Korean tradition, and everything inside was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The location couldn’t be better — just steps away from the charming Ikseon-dong area, filled with the most delicious and Instagram-worthy cafés. We didn’t even need to use public transport, as all the major attractions were within walking distance. A special thanks to Anna, our wonderful host. She was warm, helpful, and incredibly responsive to all our messages. She even kindly let us store our luggage after checkout and offered us umbrellas on a rainy day. Communication was perfect from start to finish. We couldn’t recommend Haeon Seoul more highly — it truly made our trip unforgettable!

We were thrilled with our stay at the beautiful hanok. Every detail was thoughtful - the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything you need for a few nights. It was peaceful and private, very clean and we loved that it included a coffee machine & small laundry.
