This place was perfect, good views and comfortable housing. Property manager Col was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the place. The house is clean and the atmosphere is calming. Really recommend.

The attention to detail, high end finishes, most comfortable bed and bedding!
The kitchen felt like home, everything you could need was there.
I could have spent days under the shower too.
Such amazing and thoughtful hosts, leaving some treats in the fridge was a beautiful touch.
It was such a relaxing stay, away from hustle and bustle,amongst nature.

A beautifully furnished and finished living space. Honestly one of the nicest private accommodations I’ve ever seen. Kitchen, furnishings, bathrooms, bedrooms, all very tasteful. Fantastic large space to all share a meal or relax in the lounge. VERY reasonable price for the quality and size. Short drive to shops in Gosford. Do yourself a favour, skip the grotty motels and hotels in the area. It’s still strategically close to the highway, and being set amongst a quiet equestrian facility makes it a nice experience. I will stay again 100%. Elsa and Joel are good folks.

What an amazing place to stay whilst we were in Umina for 4 days. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The decor of the property, with so much attention to detail gave a warm, inviting ambiance.
As we were in Umina on business, we couldn’t wait to finish for the day and go back “home”( because that’s what it felt like).
I personally enjoyed reading all the books that were placed around the house.
Both indoors and outdoors was spotless, a credit to the hosts.
Our communication with Koreen was outstanding. Nothing was a problem.
We would highly recommend Once Upon a Tide( great name, by the way!) to anyone looking for a place to stay whilst in Umina.

We had a wonderful stay at this waterfront home! Although it rained during our visit, we still made the most of it by enjoying the cozy fire pit and spending time on the wharf—our kids had a great time fishing and absolutely loved it. The house was spacious, clean, and very comfortable for our family. The location was also convenient, just about 9 minutes from the local plaza for anything we needed. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable getaway for the whole family.

Location perfect for the family celebration up the road. Older style house was very clean with all amenities. Mattresses were low and squashy ... though I slept ok but that could be because of my level of partying! I didn't use the BBQ or kayaks as was at my son's house up the road for 90% of my stay.

Very clean and picturesque location. Facilities in a tiny space were really good.
When we arrived,the air-conditioning had been turned on,which made it very nice as it was too hot. The whole space and decorations were well thought of. Will definitely like to stay there again in the future.
The cottage was quaint, but quite spacious at the same time. Everything was neat and tidy and very clean. The location was great as a base to explore the area. Most modern conveniences were provided for, which was great.
