We would have loved to stay longer. The host also organised us a great diner right next to the house.

What a beautiful view, what a nice place to hike and what a nice hosts. There's a lot of sounds here from animals, but that was part of the experience here. Waking up here was a gift; the cocks, birds, dogs, donkeys... No warm water, no WiFi, just nature. The food in the restaurant (we had breakfast and diner, also vegetarian) was good. People around were so friendly and helpful during our hike. We felt so safe. This was our favourite stay on Santiago. Thank you (obrigada)

Carlos and Djarmina were excellent hosts. They helped with every detail , with travels to Tarrafal and Maio. I chose to eat dinner there at RESIDENCIA AQUIA every night.DJAMIna is an excellent cook. Her CACHUPA is the best. Carlos has cars available to rent. The accommodations are extremely clean. AC in all rooms. I would definitely come back to RESIDENCIA AQUIA again.
