Very nice building and facilities. We saw red squirrels every morning. We enjoyed the walk to and from town centre where we ate.

Lovely little place with high-quality furnishings. Just a short walk from the middle of Ballater but feels quiet and peaceful. The lounge/dining room catches the late afternoon sun and has a view up to the oak woods of Craigendarroch hill. It's quite a small place (the reasonable price reflects this - it's in a 'premium' part of the Highlands) but the quality of the armchair, sofa and dining chairs would put many a grand country hotel to shame and made for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Perfect location if your are looking for peace and tranquility yet only a short drive to all amenities. Ideal for woodland walks leading to beautiful lochan views or you can venture further a field on the dedicated footpaths to Kincraig and surrounding area. The location was superb! The house itself was a lovely place, every room was spacious. Just off the road, so nice and quiet. The views were stunning, and the garden area was lovely too. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Everything we needed was provided, and the hosts even provided a wee welcome basket on our arrival.
