We spend a lot of time researching houses to stay in interesting locations which are private, remote and have a stupendous panoramic view. We also appreciate good design and landscaping that says something about the place we are visiting. Etheres exceeded our expectations and is possibly the best conceived design that we have experienced in decades of traveling. It is also interesting to us that this experience was created by three relatively young women. Etheres is sited on a high ridge above the old village of Nikiti and comprises only ten houses each having stunning views to both sides of your house. Each has a pool and is equipped for basic self-catering. The furniture selection allows for relaxed living inside and out and there is good protection from the sun as well as areas for sunbathing. From a design perspective the architecture and siting is quite innovative providing the ability to harness breezes when needed and with clever screens for privacy. We were able to walk down into the village as well as walk up into the hills behind. The views are everywhere and even take in glimpses of Mount Athos. Etheres is a special experience that we will fondly treasure.

We really enjoyed our stay and for sue will return for longer next time. The apartment was fantastic, very well decorated till the small detail. Very specious bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Every unit has its own barbecue and place to sit and relax. The owner was very kind and he even gave us a bottle of wine from their own production to take home.

The location is perfect! It's close to restaurants on the beach, but distant enough to keep the place quite and not crowded. Our room was on the first floor with separate entrance, nice terrace and sea view. It's literally 2 min away from the beach. But the bonus is that you don't have to stay there, if you don't want to be in the crowd. We only swam and came back to chill on the terrace. The apt itself has very fresh renovation, everything is new, modern and spotless! Hosts are great! Nikos was always helpful and his mother also helped us several times. Overall great stay, very relaxing!

Because of it being low season, there seemed to be no other guests. it felt like we had the entire property to ourselves. There was plenty of room for each of us. We really enjoyed the balconies and the poofs in the yard. The beds were comfortable and there were multiple bathrooms. Nikos took great care of us. The views were amazing. We would definitely stay here again.
