We came to explore Trieste, but wanted to find a less busy place to stay for the night, so Muggia seemed a good spot to make it our base close to the city. We did not regret our choice, since this little town is really fulfilled all our expectations. The old town has a really lovely atmosphere with its narrow streets and alleys and main square, where we could have our morning coffe each day to start with. Traffic was no problem to Trieste (10-15 minutes drive). Enrico is a most helpful host, very fast with responding any of our questions through Booking.com messaging. The apartment was absolutely perfect for our needs, an exceptionally great value for money in my opinion. My friend took the double bed, and I went for the bunk bed, which to my surprise was totally fine to sleep on (note that I'm almost 6 ft/2m tall, still I could stretch out fine).

The accommodation is very well equipped and spacious, perfect for 4 people. It matches all the details in the description, and the hosts are very kind and quick to respond to messages. We ended up in Trieste by pure chance, as a stop when entering Italy, and I didn’t expect to find such a beautiful city. I will definitely come back, and probably to the same accommodation!
