Location: very near to the Boulders Beach penguins; there was a side gate that leads directly out to the boardwalk next to the visitor centre about 1 min away. Perfect spot for an early morning walk to see the penguins. Facilities: the room was spacious and cosy and there was a good smart TV with Netflix/Youtube. Bathroom was well furnished with a bath tube and amenities. Bed was good. Service: Staff was friendly and attentive the moment we entered and service was impeccable. They provided lot of good recommendations of Simon’s Town. Breakfast was awesome with a view of the bay.

Martin is so passionate about hosting. I instantly felt right at home. The King Sized Bed is an absolute treat!😍 I slept like a baby. Very fine touch and so much consideration for the guest. I felt so special with the little additions and an honesty bar makes it so much easier to sit down, unwind and relax without having to go out and buy anything. FANTASTIC bird life right on the balcony. If you"re a bird watcher, I highly recommend this as your stay. Very Memorable and located in such a pristine villiage.

Richard welcomed us in his beautiful Mettahouse and had first the courtesy to propose us to go and do some groceries as we came from Cape Town center by Uber and had no car. He personally helped me organizing a ritual for my partner’s birthday at the beach which is 3 min by car or 20 min walking and the views from his house are just stunning. You will rarely find a host like Richard. He’s an amazing human being, very humble, the decoration of his house is of good taste, each detail has a meaning. The house is spacious, many outside areas to rest, read by the pool, have a drink, smoke hookah like for one of us. All was just perfect. I can’t say more and please, take the chance to wake up early in the morning and enjoy the most beautiful sunrise you could imagine between the ocean and the mountains. What a beautiful life, this house will leave you a taste of piece of mind and we will comeback in a second for our next trip to Cape Town. We were coming from Palestine and Tunisia. Richard is just open to the world and his house as well. Thank you a thousand times again for your kindness, humanity and welcoming. All the best to you !
