The apartment is located directly above the owner's family home, who are as friendly as people can be, especially to our son. The view from the large terrace is simply breathtaking, the beds are comfortable and there are three powerful air conditioning units inside. We can definitely recommend a stay here, we were only there for two nights.

The host was really nice and hospitable, tending to all our needs and trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible. His wife prepared delicious breakfast. Very quiet and peaceful place. The rooms look better than in the photos. There is a common area with sofas and tables too.

The most beautiful wine estate in Albania close to Berat, run by a really sympathetic family. We had a beautiful room and an excellent wine tour and wine tasting which was included with the room-rate. My husband celebrated his 60th birthday and we had a joyfully party in the company of fellow visitors accompanied by their beautiful wines and had a very good dinner served. A Fantastic experience, Thank you Pupa winery , especially Davi and Paolo. ❤️

Many thanks to Eri and his parents! This is a wonderful family that we fell in love with! Unfortunately, I don't know all the names, but we warmly remember everyone and tell our friends that it was the coolest accommodation of all in Albania (and we drove almost 600 km across the country and changed 9 hotels). We were very happily welcomed, placed in a clean and cozy room, there was everything we needed! We even had a delicious dinner and saw that everything was cooked with a soul! My boyfriend and I are from Russia, and this is the first review that I write in English so that our friends from this hotel can easily read it. You can walk to the waterfall from the hotel. There is a place to park the car. In general, the brightest and most positive emotions are still evoked by the memories of Eri and his parents, the most friendly and kind family! Thank you very much again for everything! If you are reading this, we are the ones who treated you to wine and presented you with a coin of 1 Russian ruble.

Such a great gem in Berat. Really lovely traditional feel with all the comforts of modern day. Such great value for money. Wonderful beds, great view from the balcony and terrace, huge delicious breakfast and welcoming people. Would highly recommend. Tip: parking is on the Main Street and the walk up has stairs (every place in Berat does because it’s built on a hill).

This is a wonderful place to stay. Mira was very welcoming and our room was lovely with a big bed, AC and views! There are even better views from the terrace which is a lovely place to sit in the evening and when eating the delicious breakfast. I could not have been happier… thank you Mira.

The hostess and her family were very kind!!! The apartment was beautiful and very clean, as it appears in the photos. The bathroom was also clean and comfortable. We parked the car in the closed courtyard of the house. The location of the apartment is quite close to the center of Berat, we moved around on foot, we only took the car to go up to the castle. We were impressed by the rich breakfast on the terrace of the house from her own products and things that the hostess herself had prepared for us! We totally recommend this place!

So long as you're relatively fit, the steep climb through Mangalen is well worth it to enjoy the historical splendour of this area. The accommodation is not far from the top, where there are open top cafes/restaurants with panoramic views. Further below, several more restaurants (especially like the one with a wine bell). The property overlooks Berat new town with its huge and busy promenade. The owner is a professor who has studied Albanian history and staying here encompasses a lot of that history. The hosts are lovely and passionate about their Albanian heritage. The room has a very comfortable and large double bed, with good aircon and wifi. There is a communal lounge with tea/coffee making facilities.
