This place is BEAUTIFUL! It's far from the road and noise from the town with breathtaking views of the jungle just a few steps from the house. While having my morning coffee, I've seen countless Blue Morpho butterflies flying around - priceless! The big terrace has a few sections (pool, table with chairs in front of the house, and another table with chairs, rocking chair and bench on the other side of the terrace, so everybody can have their own private corner to realx). It's incredibly peaceful - perfect for relaxing and dettaching from all the worries. The kitchen is equipped with everything and more than you can wish for and extremely clean. Rooms are really nice, cozy and clean and they all have balconies. This place is simply a paradise.

Host was very friendly and had lots and great information about the local area. The hidden waterfall was great! Facilties were all very clean, and there were lots of animal sighting right on the property. We made it our base for exploring Uvita and surrounding areas.

Honestly this is the best hostel in Uvita. Its location, friendliness, comfortable bed and enough space in the room. It’s surrounded by green, nice chill vibe to hang out. Excellent value for a very friendly price. The name of the hostel “Luminosa” is true!
