Everything. Design, construction, decor, the little things, the drive to the train for departure all ex ellent. I enjoyed first a bus ride on no. 15 up a valley, waited 15 minutes near bus at last stop, then return. Then I took bus 3x ( trams out for construction at the end of that line) to the point of two museums on a cross roads, maybe 5 to 10 minutes. Stopped in that vicinity, then walked up the road, turned left, second right, to see homes in that area from over a hundred years of age. Arrived botanical gardens corner, walked down through path in trees, then left past zoo. Locals out walking. Cold drink at tennis club, then strolled up that hillock a d down and back to botanical gardens. I recommend the gardens, with aquariums, a few birds upstairs, crocodile (unexpected) in the tropical/ desert.glasshoyses. plus there are outdoor gardens of great variety, labeled plants, shade and sun. Neither too big nor too small. Ice cream from Six Cafe recommended. Walked back to see North Bohemian natural history museum. Recommend. Bus 3x to town, supermarket near Fygneriva stop. Previous evening St Anthony the Great Church, and city square.

A very good location, one block away from two great museums and a gallery, 5-10 mins walk from the main market square. Great apartment (120 sq meters), fully equipped kitchen, flat screen with Android TV and a fast WiFi. Very firendly girls working there as the staff (we used translator and common words in Polish and Czech to communicate), a VERY good dinner - e.g. knedliki with meat inside (finally some place with real Czech food, not some 'continental' stuff). Very nice rooms. Old school, vintage bathrooms that remind me of 90s, and finally showers with some shelves to put some soap or shampoo on. Very cosy. The road upwards is narrow, but it's asphalt. No problem with parking.

We were able to check in before lunchtime. The room was spacious and airy, and everything was very clean and comfortable. The shared kitchen and common room are perfect for preparing meals. Since we left before breakfast, a packed lunch was prepared for us the night before. Very nice and delicious! Thank you for it! We are hikers on the Stezka Českem, and this guesthouse was perfect for a bit of relaxation.
