The hospitality and kindness of the staff at the reception it truly exceptional. It has been warmest welcoming I ever experienced (without being too much). The location is perfect, and the view from little balcony was beautiful. The room was perfectly clean and while not being huge, it has been equipped with all you need and gave you this feeling of being home away from home.

Beautiful bathroom & nice bedroom with own balcony (+extra shared one, accessible from kitchen), absolute perfect location in center (parking in San Sebastián is a nuisance tho, especially for large vans, your best options would be underground parking, but only if you have a car lower than 2.20m - otherwise good luck finding a parking space, had to look for one for about an hour :/ but that has absolutely nothing to do with Pension Joakina - which was top notch 👍)

The hotel is super clean, modern and very aesthetic and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The common space has hot drinks and a kitchenette available to guests. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the city center and very close to the train station. Check-in is done automatically, but the hotel also has a staff member who was very pleasant and welcoming.

The location is excellent! It’s close to everything including the best eats of San Sebastián. Staff recommendations were spot on! The FREE mini bar which included a daily replenishment of a can of Coke, beer and 1.5liter water was a nice touch of hospitality!
