The property has such a beautiful interior, great aesthetics. You’ll find anything you might need in the bathroom as well as tea etc for the morning. Everything is sparkling clean. We were amazed by the bed which was so comfortable and generally it was the best set up for a good nights sleep!

A lovely location overlooking the river. The room was very comfortable and had good air con which was essential! Our host provided a super evening meal and breakfast and also helped arrange our onward taxi.

I ended up at ETXEALE because I unexpectedly got sick during my pilgrimage, and needed to stay in Valcarlos a couple of nights. And I was so happy I did! Alejandra was wonderful, cooking great food and giving me tea with homemade ginger and honey for my cough. She is truly an amazing host. Everything was clean and beautiful (and smelled absolutely lovely), and the view of the mountains from my room was unreal, looked like a painting. I really wanted to stay for longer because I felt so relaxed, like I was on a retreat <3
