Very clean; comfortable; spacious; interior is pristine with unique elements, including tiles on the floor, wooden beams in the roof, signature engraved in the chairs; staff was very friendly; food is perhaps the best part of it all - extremely good value for money for breakfast and especially dinner. Loved staying, will refer friends to book here.

We really enjoyed a lot staying in this room. It was spacious and clean with a very tasteful decoration. The host, Piedad, is very friendly and discrete. We especially loved the small terrace with the great view. We would definitely recommend this place. Please note that you do need a car if you want to visit Pamplona. There might be busses but we didn’t check.

I ended up at ETXEALE because I unexpectedly got sick during my pilgrimage, and needed to stay in Valcarlos a couple of nights. And I was so happy I did! Alejandra was wonderful, cooking great food and giving me tea with homemade ginger and honey for my cough. She is truly an amazing host. Everything was clean and beautiful (and smelled absolutely lovely), and the view of the mountains from my room was unreal, looked like a painting. I really wanted to stay for longer because I felt so relaxed, like I was on a retreat <3
