Where to start...we felt very welcomed by the hosts. This accomodation simply feels like the heart of Alsace: the food, the decorations, the structural traces from the past, the whole atmosphere. We have been in few places to feel so genuinely welcomed. The breakfast and dinner was amazing so we definitely recommend booking the dinner there as well. Our kids loved it as well as the dog (Igor) and the cats! Very suitable also for family with kids.

We spent a wonderful evening at l'hippocampe. Corrine and Didier were wonderful hosts and they have a beautiful and tranquil home. We arrived wet after hiking in the rain. They brought our hiking clothes to the basement to dry and offered us fresh coffee and cake! Dinner was delicious and we had an enjoyable chat afterwards.

Yolanda was a great host providing a clean and cosy night stay in Kirrwiller. The breakfast served in the morning was a highlight! Delicious spread brought to us in a basket was included in our price and so thoughtful. A smooth check in and out too as Yolanda was there both times to give and collect the keys back.
