The apartment was cozy and well furnished, perfect size for two people. The staff were also lovely, and there were even basic breakfast items and coffee and tea provided in the room. It's a nice 20 minute walk to the city center, or you can take a bus which is there in about 10 minutes, amazing location.

I stayed for 3 nights at Silvia’s place, Tartan Accommodation, and had a truly wonderful experience. Silvia was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout my stay—always making sure I had everything I needed. The place itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully kept, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The location was also perfect for exploring Edinburgh. There’s a Sainsbury’s Local just nearby, along with plenty of great eating spots and charming cafés within walking distance. The bus stop and the tram to the airport are also very close, which made getting around and travelling to and from the city incredibly convenient. I highly recommend Tartan Accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay. Thank you, Silvia!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The room was very cozy, this was the cleanest place I have ever been to!! I was amazed The hostess was very nice and communicative, she really takes care of her guests making sure they have the best time. I appreciated every little detail showing how much she cared for her guests (bath bombs and salts, mini face towels, tea and coffee in the room). It is not a hotel but a private house (which we knew before staying and we were absolutely fine with it but perhaps it may not be as clear to everyone) 6 minutes walk to the train station, 5 mins to Tesco and Lidl, very nice neighberhood, very quiet and safe. We were able to get to the center of Edinbourgh in 20 mins. Definitely recommend it!
