This place is a gem! Mark was an amazingly welcoming, obliging, kind host intent on giving you the best service possible. As a chef, he takes pride - and pleasure - in making your stay a memorable experience and will do everything and anything to achieve that. Breakfast was surreal: the buffet alone was mouth-watering; everything was tastefully decorated and more than anyone can possibly eat. On top, you could choose an extra dish which he personally prepared there and then for you - a feast for the eye, the palate - and most certainly the soul! The Victoria House was a very nice spot to stay. For us, this was a halfway point between some sightseeing on the Isle of Skye, and then heading down to Glasgow the next day. We didn't get to see much around the area, but that had more to do with our schedule than anything else. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone who is trying to explore the Fort William area.
