Everything. The food, the staff, the location! It was all amazing! The rooms were better and cleaner than in Tblisi, the staff spoke perfect English, was very kind and communicated really well about how to get to them through the Abano pass! If I am lucky enough to make my way back to Omalo one day, I will for sure stay there again!

The guest house was located in upper Omalo with amazing views from the balcony, including the old fortress and mountain scenery. The natural surroundings are peaceful—you hear birds singing and no road noise.The place was very clean, and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. We ordered lunches that were delicious, plenty of choice and not expensive. Our room had a private bathroom that is not frequent in such location. A big bonus is that they allowed us to bring our German Shepherd, which made our stay even better. We will definetely come back 🥰

I stayed at the Guest House Mirgvela and it was an amazing experience. The location is absolutely stunning and it’s a great starting point for mountain hikes. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food served is diverse and delicious. There is electricity available and the internet quality is quite good. Getting to the property can be a bit of a challenge, but the owner is more than happy to help. I highly recommend this place!

The view over the river is amazing - but the food server every morning and evening was a journey to explore. The host was always there to help with a big smile. We learned how to play domino - Georgia style and enjoyed the company of the family of the host.

The guesthouse Margaliti has incredibly kind and helpfull owners and their sons/grandsons (and small dogie Zoro :-) ) who do their best to clients feel like at home. As a client you can try original georgian food made by real georgean people. And trust us - they cook really amazing food! The guesthouse has very good equipment - you are in the mountains with only road you can use to get there and you reach this remarcable guesthouse with these amazing people, nice view to the mountains and modern equipment. We couldn't make better choice with accomodation in Omalo!:)
