Lovely place to stay in Ushguli. People at the reception are very helpful (helped us organize activities and the trip back to Mestia), rooms are nice and clean, there is no problem with access to the shared bathroom. The owner's dogs are huge and very friendly, and the little puppies were the cutest and an absolut highlight of our trip.

Simple accommodation with authentic atmosphere. The food served was excellent, and the cozy warmth was exactly what we needed after getting soaked in the rain. The owner was helpful and even arranged transportation for us for the following day. It was a perfect place to dry off, relax, and enjoy delicious local dishes. Exceptional experience. Out of 5 guesthouses we stayed in during our time in Georgia the food here was by far the best, and the family was beyond friendly and helpful. Ushguli is a beautiful place to spend a night after a long hike, and the family at Old House will make you feel at home. Be ready to have some cha cha with dinner :)

Everything was good. The host was always in touch. They were ready to help. Huge windows with the view on the towers. Coffee, tea and the amazing Svaneti salt were provided. You can find everything what you need in the kitchen (you can cook there but bring the food from Mestia because it's hard to find a shop there) and in the bathroom. We loved to stay there. Thanks!

You can’t ask for a better accommodation in usghuli for such price. We had one of the best sleeps at Nora’s place and breakfasts was an amazing addition (boiled eggs, curd cakes, sweet cakes, veggies, jam, bread, butter, potatoes, etc…).

Maria is a really great host! Really nice woman that care for her guests, always helpful when I needed something and she speaks good english. She even let me visit the Svan tower that is part of the guesthouse. Room and bathroom were clean. I had a tasty dinner and breakfast. Didi madloba Maria!

A great experience and excellent value for money. The host family is very kind and welcoming. The guesthouse is a fascinating, traditional building with its own Svan tower that you can climb for a look round! The dining room is really charming and cosy, and the food was genuinely among the very best we ate in Georgia! Thanks!

Great homestay accommodation in the heart of Ushguli The house is very atmospheric and has been in the family for generations. Breakfast was huge and delicious and the family are very nice indeed. I was here for two nights and would come back.

Amazing homestay with super friendly host which will make you feel like litteraly at home. Best homemade food we had in 3 weeks in Georgia. The only downside is we couldn't stay longer :)
