I was a woman traveling alone and I felt very safe. I was skeptical about renting a room due to bad experiences in the past, but I was convinced by the price and the fact that the homeowner was a woman. I really appreciated that right after booking, I received a message clarifying that it was just a room and not the whole house, and that I could cancel the reservation for free. At that moment, I felt I was dealing with honest and kind people. Another plus was that I could communicate fluently in English. The host was incredibly friendly and very helpful. She didn’t interfere with guests' lives and was almost invisible. The house had its own charm, and the views around were wonderful. A shop and restaurant are very close to the house. The place is clean, well-kept, and you can really feel the Greek atmosphere – time seems to pass slowly there. I found exactly what I needed, and I will definitely come back.

we had an amazing time with Maria and George who gifted us with their kindness, home made traditional cuisine, Greek music and insights into Greek history and daily life. It was truly a unique and most delicious experience… especially with the perfect view we had! Food was all fresh, local and homemade from dinner to breakfast. We loved staying at Petritis guesthouse. We stayed with our 2 year old son for the last two days of our trip. The room was exceptional with air conditioning, comfortable beds and a dreamy huge breakfast. Super clean, and big bathroom. Both the room and wider hotel are very stylish, with respect to the local architecture, materials and plants. Thank you so much to the hostess for her warm welcome, fantastic hospitality and genuine engagement. We couldn't have asked for more during our stay. Definitely recommend this hotel.
