StiLiana is one of Mitilini’s grand old mansions that has recently been set up as a boutique hotel. It’s a beautiful, stately home, filled with stunning original furniture and decor. It’s a fascinating insight into the history of Mitilini. It’s positioned opposite the marina, so you look onto the water from the front bedrooms and balconies and get lovely sea breezes too. Beds and pillows are also comfy. It’s an easy walk to the centre, approx 10-15 mins. & about a 5 min drive to the beach below the castle, plus there are lots of swimming spots with clear water back towards the airport and beyond. The staff are super friendly and helpful with local advice. Mitilini itself was a great surprise, it’s vibrant and there’s lots of meandering streets with cool bars and cafes. We were one of the first customers at the hotel and will definitely be back.
