told my host I wanted to learn some Indonesian language in Bali and he said no problem. He set me up with a computer and I had face-to-face lessons with a language teacher every morning. Then after my lessons were done the staff would spend the rest of the day talking to me in Indonesian and take me out to villages where nobody speaks English so I could practice my language skills. This was next level service! I had a fantastic experience staying here. It really felt like home. The host Yandi and his staff are amazing people who will do anything for you. The place has a beautiful energy and you feel the atmosphere of love and care from the first moment. Thank you for having me everybody. Thank you for taking care of me so kindly. Highly recommended.

Pro: the owner of the stay are so so nice and helpful! The garden is the most amazing garden I have ever seen. You even have a famous Bali swing in there! It’s magical! The view is stunning from the bungalow! The bungalow is new, big and clean. The bathroom is also very big and clean! :) we loved our stay here, a little paradise.

Secret gem in Ubud! Its located next to the main street in city center. The street itself is quiet, but very well served with nice places to where to eat and drink. This little homey accomodation has nice modern bedrooms and and bathroom wit shower and bath! It have been only place in Bali where i have seen forced ventilation in bathroom and sprinkler sistem in bedroom in case of fire. In front of your room is little terrace with tabel and chares. The bed is comfortable and sheets and towels are clean, soft and smelling very good. There is also little common area where you can participate in daily free activities- you can learn how to make balinese offering or have a nice cup of tea in theafternoon. The stuff is very kind and helpful. Wifi is strong and stabel- so if you need to work, its perfect. Price for a nigt is very affordable. Highly reccomend and i would book any time again.

The room was impeccable—extremely clean, bright, and tastefully decorated with light wooden furniture that enhanced the natural light. It had sheer curtains layered over heavier ones, providing privacy without needing to close the shutters. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and there was no disturbing noise—the AC was very quiet, and the residence is small, so I didn’t hear the neighbors, or they were very discreet. Every morning, Kot and Wine Juan offered me coffee with small Balinese desserts and chatted with me, offering local tips. They even gave me rides to my yoga class and helped with my luggage when I changed locations. I felt genuinely welcomed—like part of the family. This place set such a high standard that it’s hard not to compare every other stay to it. What touched me the most was the cleanliness and attention to detail—from the garden to the room, everything was impeccable. I felt incredibly well taken care of and welcomed.

We loved our stay at Hanaka riverside, the terrace room came with spectacular views, feeling immersed in nature. The staff is super friendly, they even cut down some fresh coconuts from the tree for us to enjoy while we were relaxing poolside! It is exceptional value for the rate we paid. The location is about 3km up from the 'city center' and on the way to the rice terraces. quiet and secluded yet close and accessible. Thank you for the stay!

Great place to stay away from the buzz of the center of ubud but close enough to go with the bike. Tulus was very helpful and you can rent a bike on the spot which was very convenient. I got a mild flu and it was a good place to stay and recover.
