Staying and Gilded Palms was an amazing experience! First of all Yandi and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, acommodating all of our wants and needs. Using the villa's car service was also a great and convenient way of visiting Bali. While the villa is not located in Ubud centre, we found this to be the better option to enjoy the quiet atmosphere that Bali has to offer. The staff made us feel like home. I would highly recommend this stay and would definetely come again back at the villa!

This place is simply stunning. Its biggest strength is the unique combination of authentic local life with a dreamy Balinese setting. It’s located at the back of a private residence in a traditional village, so you really get a sense of everyday life in Bali — without the tourist crowds. At the same time, it opens onto a garden that looks like it’s straight out of the most exotic Instagram photos — lush greenery, terraced plants, and an absolutely magical vibe. The place is very clean, the internet is lightning fast, and the atmosphere is incredibly pleasant and peaceful. However, if you’re looking for a trendy, “fancy” spot surrounded by tourists and tourist attractions, this isn’t it. This is a place for people who appreciate authenticity, local life, and natural beauty. The garden is maintained with incredible care — it’s truly breathtaking.

Friendly staff. Clean room. Wonderful view as if you are in the middle of the jungle. Great location. They can arrange half and full day tours with the best rates. Very near to the markets and city center. Scooters are available for rent. Food is great. Outdoor shower was incredible.

I had a truly pleasant 5-day stay at Rumah Baris Ubud. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their warm hospitality really made a difference. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The bed was cozy, and I especially loved the added touch of having a sofa and chairs out on the patio—it was the perfect spot to unwind after a full day of exploring. One of the best surprises was the daily activities they offered for guests. These were free, fun, and a great way to experience a bit more of the local culture or meet other travelers. Location-wise, it's perfect. Just a short walking distance from Ubud Market and many of the main attractions. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby, making everything super convenient. Overall, I had a fantastic time and would definitely book this place again on my next visit to Ubud. Highly recommend!

Hanaka Riverside Ubud is fabulous! The host Dewa responds very quickly and is very accommodating to any requests. The rooms are beautiful, just as the picture shows. It is extremely clean & modern with Balinese decor. And I could not have asked for a better location. The entire staff here is so kind and welcoming & happy to help. The area is safe and secure. It is such a wonderful place, I decided to extend my stay here. I highly recommend.
