When you are in this area, this little piece of heaven will not disappoint!! I received such a warm & friendly welcome. The accommodation was delightful, the food delicious. I wish I'd booked 2 nights! Truly delightful spot. An unexpected oasis in a charming village. And.... one of the highlights was that Friendly Homestay has a very well run spa on the property. The accommodation was absolutely wonderful! The owner and his sister were very kind and helpful, and communication was excellent. They even offered to set up a mosquito net over the bed, which we accepted just to be safe, though there weren’t many mosquitoes in the area. We also had access to a floral-scented insect spray, which was a lovely touch. The place was exceptionally clean and fragrant, which we hadn’t experienced often in the area. Dinner could be ordered and was delivered right to our terrace, and breakfast was provided as well. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with coffe/tea drink. We only stayed for one night but were able to leave our luggage at the homestay until the afternoon after we returned from visiting the waterfalls. The surroundings were peaceful and immersed in nature, just a short distance from the Fiji and Sekumpul waterfalls. If we had more time, I would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommended!

This is a beautifully restored location that gave us a sense of what the real Bali is like. it is away from the noise of the south which for us, was a complete blessing. The hosts Dekha and Sanny were the most hospitable people. They treated us like family and welcomed us into their home. They showed us around from the beginning to the end of our stay. by the end we had seen so much which obviously included waterfalls, markets and temples but also, we learnt some Balinese Sanscript, how to cook a traditional Balinese meal, had massages, and the most amazing walk up into the local countryside where we slid down river water chutes, leapt into rivers, walked through paddy fields and met local people. From breakfast to dinner, we ate traditional Balinese food, prepared by Sanny which was just gorgeous. We even had a cooking lesson! I cannot say enough about how welcome we felt. To add to this, Dekha’s brother Maddy has continued to drive us around after leaving the homestead. They are a lovely family and you will thoroughly enjoy your stay with them.

Beautiful homestay in a quiet village. Very close to Sekumpul and Fiji Waterfall. The place has an amazing view on a rice field and Mountains. Its the perfect place to relax and rewind. Staff was very sweet and food was also very good. The place also has a spa so you can get a massage a couple steps from your room. I recommend it to anyone that needs a quiet time away from the busy touristic places.

We really liked our stay here at Friendly Homestay. The owner made us feel very welcome and always made good breakfast. The fresh fruits were amazing. The massage we booked was the best we had in Bali. We also did the waterfall tour, really nice guide. If you like to be away from touristic trouble, it's a must to go there, definitely recommend!
