The room was a lot nicer then shown in the pictures. I was presently surprised. The bed was really comfortable. Easy check in and check out. Walking distance to all bars and restaurants.

The hosts were super friendly and very helpful. Told us where to visit and eat around the area. The bedroom was so clean and fresh, and the bed was super comfortable, as were the pillows. The room is very big and spacious.The tv in the bedroom had firestick, which meant we had every channel you could think off which was great for relaxing on the comfy recliner sofa in the room. Big bathroom with bath loads of hot water and washing products supplied there also. The view were stunning, and their little dog dingo was just super cute. Very fast and speedy Internet. To our suprise the communal kitchen had everything you needed, and they had left out items such as crossiants and cereal bars to have with you coffee in the morning, which was complimentary. Can't wait to return to the stables.

Brian welcomed us when we arrived, he was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our family room was very spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the big smart tv was very welcome to have a movie night after a busy day of visiting. Although there was no breakfast option at booking there were a selection of snacks available for free which was a nice and unexpected surprise. We had a very restful night and are delighted with our stay. We will definitely be back if we visit the area again.

This gastropub - and the whole town of Kilkenny - was amazing! The staff were super friendly, helpful and professional. The room was nice, adequate and bathroom was ok, but water a wee bit chilly. The included breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The dinner was about the best meal we had during our 2 weeks driving around Ireland. Location was great; we were there during the week, and place was calm at night. The pub itself was well visited, and the rooftop courtyard was also a lovely place to meet people - locals as well as tourists - over a pint. We liked it so much, that we thought we'd swing by on our way back towards Dublin, but there was no room at the inn for a repeat visit.
