Great place, very cosy room, super clean, the staff was very nice. There's coffee and tea available all night and the breakfast was very good. We even catch the Northern Lights right in the back yard!!

Hostel located in absolutelly lovely place. Very quiet and peacefull place. Kitchen has all necesserity to cook a diner. On every floor is toailet.

We booked a double room with a shared bathroom. The room was very clean and functional. The beds were quite comfortable. Again, we arrived late, but the host was very accommodating and was available for a late check-in. The shared bathroom was very spacious and also clean. The breakfast was consistent: cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, veggies, fruits, yogurt , cereals, milk, coffee, and tea plus an array of breads. We really enjoyed our stay.

Hali is always the first choice stay when we are in the area. We literally stayed here every year or time when we come to Iceland. Staying here is like home coming. Food is great, room is comfort. Staff are helpful and friendly. This remain to be the only hotel or guesthouse that I have visited in Iceland that provides a dry room for wet clothing.

The location was amazing, you could see right across to the glaciers from the cabin window. Stefan was very friendly when we met him and let us know we had a chance of seeing the northern lights! We saw them and the view from the cabin was beautiful. The bed was really comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The water was really warm for the shower and the cabin was kept toasty warm too!

The first thing that made us very happy was that we were able to charge the car here. Furthermore, the room is perfect and we had an amazing overview of the area + stars and aurora at nighttime. Everything you need is in the room
