This hostel is perfect for staying one night or even more. The private Onsen is really nice. The Onsen village is unique. Yosuke and his karadabar class was amazing. Highly recommended.

The staff were beyond lovely. They helped me with my vegetarian meals, and also managed to contact a taxi company to pick me up from Koguchi once I was done with my hike. The private hot spring was extremely nice, and bedrooms were super comfy. They provided tea, a yukata to change into. The location is fantastic.

Exceptionally clean. Having a sink in the room was super convenient. The location is in the middle of nowhere with no cafes or restaurants, but it's 3 minutes to a bus stop and there's a wonderful supermarket next door that sells absolutely everything. Techan is a really kind and generous host. He offers free drinks/snacks and use of washing machine/ dryer for a donation, which can be dropped into a can. He allowed me to keep my luggage downstairs after checkout and even gave me a lift to Hongu.

Everything was so perfect, the host was amazing, super friendly and helpfull ! She made us feel like home the moment we arrived. We got lot of delicious food and she drove us to the Onsen.

Perfect stay, on my way on Kumano Kodo. This place is perfectly located to have a one-night stop between Takijiri and Hongu. Ike is a very welcoming host, and speaks very well English! He and his wife are two great cookers, as I had the chance to try their dinner/breakfast/luck box. I truly recommend! Thanks a lot! :)

The host was so kind and accommodating! I arrived very early and she still allowed me to check in to my room. Despite limited english she made effort to use phone to translate. Bento dinner was lovely. Highly recommend.
