The owners are such a nice couple, very kind. We really enjoyed our days at hostel+cafe. The place is beautiful, very clean and confortable. The food was very tasty, Japanese traditional breakfast. We strongly recommend it.

The accommodation is a very big tradition Japanese house. The host is very friendly and interesting. You may request the host to prepare (DIY) BBQ for dinner. It is delicious and interesting, highly recommended. They heat the volcano stone to cook the BBQ.

We were slightly sceptical about this place as it only had two reviews, but we are so glad we booked. This was a great guesthouse with traditional Japanese rooms in a gorgeous village. The host was incredibly helpful (even walking us to a local restaurant to make sure we got a space as everywhere was fully booked). We felt incredibly welcome, had comfy beds, a lovely room, and everything we needed.

Omusubi guesthouse is an extraordinary place to experience authentic Japanese culture! Rie is such an amazing host who gave us a lot of great advice for exploring the area. Room is huge, very confortable and amazing. The view is beautiful. The place is very calm. We went by car, parking is in front of the building. We cheked-in late (21h30) and the host welcomed us! The lady was very kind and helpfull. Even if she doesn't speak english and us neither speaking japonese we understand each other very well!
