It was very near the bus terminal and train station but it's on a quiet street so it wasn't noisy at night. Facilities are well maintained and clean.i love the cosy feeling. I love the sento just down the street,visited it almost every night. Security is good too,there is another door lock to the Ladies Dorm. The facilities such as toilets,showers,washing area were very well maintained. I'm glad the fellow dormies were all civil and considerate.Everyone moved quietly in the dorm at night so as not to disturb those who are resting.I'm very grateful for this. Just note that there are no elevators so it might be unsuitable for those with large suitcases.

The property is near to the shopping street but it was located on the uphill side. Take note if you have big suitcases. The room size is perfect for a single. A spacious bath/shower room is available but kitchen. Shared toilets are located at the 2nd floor.

The hostel is near to Shin Kobe JR station, very convenient. The rooms, toilets, bathrooms are clean. The bed is comfortable. Very affordable price and highly recommended for backpackers. The breakfast is rice ball made by our own. The staff are all very nice, they will teach you how to make it. Moreover, they gave useful tips and advices for travel around. They could speak English well. The hostel is walkable distance to waterfall and tram station of the lovely Kobe Herbs Garden.

It was a wonderful one-night stay, allowing me to fully enjoy every corner of Arima Onsen. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, giving me a restful sleep during my trip. With Kinsen (Golden Hot Spring) right in front of the accommodation, I could relax in the hot spring at night when the crowds had died down. Since it was centrally located in the alleys of Arima, I enjoyed strolling around the neighborhood in the morning, trying delicious street food along the way!
