Octavio is the best host owner of the house. Very calm and happy, gave us very good information and explanation about Takayama. Have to do booking for the shared shower. Great location! Gave us a ride to station and free of charge breakfast of coffee and toast.

We loved everything about this delightful guesthouse in beautiful Takayama, especially the wonderfully charming host, Hiromi, and her lovely husband Aki and gorgeous friendly dog Cocoa. We were treated to delicious, abundant breakfasts each morning, and Hiromi was informative, engaging and very helpful. The perfect host. The location is great and the house is spacious and very well appointed. We were the first Australian family to stay at the property and we will definitely be letting all our friends know they should stay there too!

The ambiance is really cozy and relaxing. Very clean; well maintained. The jacuzzi really made the difference. The place is very private, you have the whole floor for yourself. Love that they have 1 parking reserved for guests plus free bike rental. Highly recommend this place.

This was a great place to stay in Takayama. The location was perfect for getting to the old part of the town a quick 10 mins walk away. The hosts were both amazing so friendly and accommodating, nothing was a problem. we had the place to ourselves the first night so it was quiet. Would highly recommend this as a great place to stay in Takayama.
