The Green Village was by far the highlight of our holiday in Shri Lanka. It has perfect location, excellent service and clean rooms. The members of staff were very nice and helpful. When we arrived to the hotel, we were wet and cold because of sudden rain that caught us on the road. The hostess brought us hot tea and snacks right away as well as a hairdryer. The included breakfast was delicious. The hosts also advised us where to refuel the scooter and when to go to the Nine-arch bridge. And of course it is hard to describe the perfect beauty of Ella Rock that you will see from your terrace. I hope that we'll come back again to this wonderful hotel!

Naadhika and her family were the perfect hosts. Absolutely polite, accommodative and helpful. Naadhika's mother made us delicious home cooked breakfasts and dinners. We were tired of eating outside food during our trip, so their food was a good healthy break for us. Naadhika's mom is an awesome cook. Their homestay was probably the best experience we had amongst the six other homestays we stayed during our two week trip. We rented their scooter for two days which they offered at a lower price than other commercial places. They even accommodated our request to extend our stay by one day at the last minute and modified their other bookings. Naadhika has a very pleasant personality and is always smiling and her mother is a lovely and sweet lady. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable stay, and if this place is available, please book it right away. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here if I ever visit Ella.

Truly worth every penny, yes the walk to the property may not be as enjoyable to everyone if you are carrying a lot of luggage but don’t think twice if you can walk 100 to 150 mts. Absolutely loved the view and the cute old couple who are the host are very sweet

We have had a great stay at this unique location. It is a lovely and hospitable family who welcomed and served us very well during our stay. The owner was always there for us and helped us with recommendations in the area and offered laundry service. The breakfast is amazing, and served at your chosen time with stunning view. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable! There is no a/c but this was also not needed (22 in the night time) We highly recommend staying here!

The first thing that strikes me is the jaw-dropping view in front of the guest house. The place in itself was nice with a homely atmosphere with super-friendly staff, especially the manager (think his name was Sanath). I checked in late in the afternoon which was well after lunchtime and they were super nice to offer me a fresh and tasty meal. I enjoyed this kind of hospitality throughout my 2 day-long stay. This was exactly the place I was looking for when I planned my visit to Ella.

How should I start . The lodge has its own unique attraction. Located at Ella City and accessible easily via tuk tuk to the accommodation. Greeted warmly by Teesha and she explained about the lodge and facilities offered by them. Room was comfortable and has its own patio and terrace. Facing the hill view was a bonus call once you open your door. They have 2 friendly pet doggy - Goldie and Shaggy. Breakfast was nice with homemade Sri Lankan breakfast and also the view. Would recommend to my family n friends. And I would also come back again for my next visit 😊
