The host and his family are exceptionally friendly, helpful and extremely hospitable. The location is perfect for anyone arriving from the airport heading inland, since it is close to the railroad (without being close enough to hear it). The town is the perfect place to acclimatise to Sri Lankan life and heat, and gives you a unique opportunity to explore village life off the beaten track. The host and the care taker were very flexible with check in and check out times and process. Close to Gampaha town centre but not yet in the town centre so has idyllic nature to it. It is an old family home carefully converted to a guest house. Selva the care taker was kind and attentive.

Conveniently located only a few minutes from the airport, super modern and spacious, we got picked up at the airport late in the evening, were brought to our super modern and comfortable room, got a delicious welcome drink, had the best sleep after a long journey and were served an amazing (mostly continental) breakfast in the morning. Don is a great host who will make sure you are well taken care of. Fully recommend staying here for the beginning or end of your trip to Sri Lanka.
