Spacious, clean rooms and a comfortable bed. Hot shower which is really nice in the sometimes chilly evenings of Nuwara Eliya. The host is wonderful and does everything to help you. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice, as well as the dinner.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly kind and helpful. He arranged tuktuks for our longer rides at a good price, which made everything so much easier. We enjoyed breakfast and had also dinner at a very good price. One morning, when we left for a hike very early, he even prepared a breakfast to go, which was such a thoughtful gesture. His whole family is truly lovely and welcoming.

We loved our stay at Shevyhaws, and would love to stay there again. Chaminda and his family are wonderful guests, they could not do enough for you. Breakfast was delicious and had everything from fruit, to toast, jams and omlettes to curry and roti and pancakes. Accommodation is a bit away from town about 2.5 km, but that was not a problem as Chaminda gave us rides to and from town at no cost, whenever we texted him. He recommended a delicious vegetarian restaurant. He organised daytrips with his 4x4 Jeep at very good prices including the Horton plains, and some tea plantations and waterfalls. The Lovers leap with it's beautiful surroundings is 15 mins walking distance from Shevyhaws. Shower wàs hot and powerful and bedroom was spotlessly clean and included warm cosy blankets for the colder nights. Would strongly recommend to anyone considering.

Lovely old colonial house. Very clean & comfy. The hosts are lovely and very helpful. Our home cooked dinner was one of the best meals of our holiday. Great value for money.

Paramesh is a brilliant host, very friendly. He took great care of me. He was very patient with me despite my horrible level of English. He bought me my train ticket to Ella in advance. He has the cleanest house I have visited in Sri Lanka. It has memory foam mattresses which was perfect for my back.

Rajith is an amazing host, always happy to share all the helpful informations and easily reachable by phone when you need him. His place is adorable. Him and his family will make you a beautiful breakfast using the food from their garden. it takes ~45min to get to the city by foot or ~10 by tuktuk which will cost you 2$. Nuwara Eliya is probably the most beautiful place in Sri Lanka, so it is really nice to walk and enjoy the landscapes during the daylight. We would come back anytime!

Very nice and cozy lodge, I would call it a boutique hotel by european standards. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast. 10/10 would recommend ! Nice interior, cozy bed, clean room. Good value for money. Next time will definetely come back and try The Cabana !

Had the most amazing stay at woods hut with the lovely family of Wasanthra and Chithra at their home. The room was spacious and had everything you need, coupled with an unbelievable view on the balcony. They helped organise my plans for the duration, with breakfast & dinner if you needed! I would recommend staying here to anyone during your stay in Nuwara Eliya, you will have the best time!
